Student Leadership Opportunities

At Smith, we believe in empowering our students to lead with purpose and pride. Our 5th Grade Safety Patrol program gives students a meaningful leadership role, allowing them to model responsibility, support their peers, and help create a safe and respectful school environment. It's one of the many ways we foster independence and character in our learners.

Extended Day Programming

Smith offers a range of extended day options to support families and enrich student learning beyond the school day. Our partnership with the YMCA provides dependable before and after-care focused on academic support, social growth, and structured play. In addition, our collaboration with the city’s Parks and Recreation Department brings engaging afterschool programs right here to Smith—giving students fun, active ways to explore new interests and stay connected with their school community.
